Character development: Ten

June 1, 2011 § Leave a comment

Trying to scrape together some short stories so I can have a go at doing a little bit of sequential story telling.

The new challenge this time is drawing without reference. I have so much respect for pencillers, drawing everything and everything on such a tight schedule. ❤

I’m thinking of dropping the inky brush style, it just overpowers the visuals too much.. too much stylistically.. but it’s difficult to drop something that I’ve become comfortable with.

I’m also trying to add lower eyelids to everyone I draw which is waaay out of my comfort zone but it must be done, the drawings are starting to look.. ‘immature’ (?) without them.
